The ODOM is a One Design One Meter boat. It is a pleasure to sail, and a lot of fun to race. It is a popular boat because it is relatively simple - only one rig, and it performs very well in a wide range of conditions. Older boats remain competitive because of strict one design class rules. ODOMs do not become obsolete because of design changes or hardware upgrades.
